ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ား၏ စြမ္းေဆာင္ႏိုင္မႈ အလားအလာကို ျပန္လည္ေဖာ္ေဆာင္ေပးမည့္ ေက်ာင္းတြင္းအသင္းမ်ား

ေက်ာင္းသူေက်ာင္းသားေလးေတြ ဆယ္ေက်ာ္သက္အရြယ္ေရာက္လာတဲ့ အခ်ိန္မွာ ေက်ာင္းဆိုသည့္ အရာသည္ အထူးသျဖင့္ ခ်ိဳ႕တဲ့သည့္ မိသားစုမွလာသည့္သူမ်ားအတြက္  ဝန္ထုပ္ဝန္ပိုးတစ္ခုကဲ့သို႔ ျဖစ္လာတတ္ပါသည္။  ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရိွ ဆယ္ေက်ာ္သက္အရြယ္ ကေလးငယ္ ၁၀ ေယာက္လွ်င္ တစ္ေယာက္သည္ ေက်ာင္းမေနရသည့္ ကေလးျဖစ္တတ္ျပီး အထူးသျဖင့္ မိန္းကေလးမ်ားထက္  ေယာက်ာ္းေလးမ်ားသည္ ေက်ာင္းထြက္ရသည့္ ႏႈန္း ပိုမ်ားတတ္ပါသည္ [1] ။

အသက္ ၁၄ ႏွစ္အရြယ္ စုစုေဌးေလး တစ္ေယာက္ မူလတန္းၿပီးေျမာက္ေၾကာင္း ဆု တက္ယူတဲ့အခါ သူ႔အေမျဖစ္သူဟာ စိတ္လႈပ္ရွားဝမ္းသာ ျဖစ္ရပါတယ္။ “ဒါက ကၽြန္မ သမီးေလး အခမ္းအနားပြဲႀကီးတစ္ခုမွာ ဆုတက္ယူတာကို ပထမဆုံးအႀကိမ္ ေတြ႔ဖူးတာပါ။ ကၽြန္မ အရမ္းဂုဏ္ယူပါတယ္” လုိ႔ ေဒၚခ်ဳိမိေလးက မ်က္ရည္ေတြ ဝိုင္းၿပီး ေျပာျပတယ္။ “ဒါက အမ်ားစုအတြက္ေတာ့ ထူးထူးျခားျခား ႀကိဳးစားအားထုတ္မႈ မဟုတ္ေပမဲ့ ကၽြန္မအတြက္ေတာ့ ကၽြန္မသမီးေလး ဒီလိုစင္ျမင့္ေပၚမွာ ဂုဏ္ယူဝင့္ၾကြားတဲ့ ပုံစံေလးနဲ႔ ရပ္ေနတာကုိ ျမင္ရတာဟာ တကယ့္ေအာင္ျမင္မႈႀကီးတစ္ခုပါပဲ။”

If there is a will, there is a way

When 14-year-old Su Su Htay won an award for completing primary school, her mother was overcome with emotion. “This is the first time I saw my daughter receive an award in a big event, and I was honoured,” said Cho Mi Lay, tears welling up in her eyes. “It’s not an outstanding effort for many, but for me it was a huge success to see my daughter standing on stage in such a proud manner.”

UNICEF congratulates millions of children of Myanmar and their families on their back-to-school day

Yangon, Myanmar, 3 June 2013:  UNICEF congratulates the 5.25 million children in Myanmar, along with their parents and teachers, who have returned to primary schools today, 1.25 million of whom are entering the first grade for the first time.

Comprehensive Education Sector Review in Myanmar Sets the Path for Improving Quality of Education

Myanmar, 8 November 2012: The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar together with development partners officially launched a Comprehensive Education Sector Review (CESR) in the Myanmar capital Nay Pyi Taw on 23 October 2012.  The launching ceremony was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Education H.E Dr. Myo Myint and co-chaired by UNICEF Representative Mr Ramesh Shrestha and Mr Chris Elstoft, Assistant Director General of AusAID’s Mekong, Philippine, Myanmar and Regional Branch.
